Battlefield Heroes
Well you may remember I did a blog post about first person shooters. Well now here is a post about a third person shooter. It is called battlefield heroes and is a cartoon like third person shooter you are either a Royal (Allied) or National (Nazi) soldier and you can be infantry, heavy gunner or comando. It is a great free game and again you can buy more ingame items for real cash but there is no need as even the standard weapons are fine. it is well worth a look so head to http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/ to try it.

Level R
Well i have been busy doing the website, forum and google chrome extensions lateley so i havent posted for a while but now i have something great.
This is a racing game called Level R and as with all software featured here it is free. You can download it from the website here. It is the European version of Project Torque so if you live in the usa then do a search for Project Torque. It is a great game with lots of game modes including normal races, capture the flag and speedway racing. You buy a car and then upgrade it to beat the opposition and earn more cash to buy ne cars and upgrades. As with a lot of games like this you can pay real money to get some ingame cash. This is a great free game that is being updated constantly so there are always new features.

Rigs of rods
I am back again and this time I have got a great game.
Rigs of rods is a free downloadable game that has no objective. It is all about driving cars, flying planes and sailing boats there is even a monorail. The physics are very realistic and you can crash realistically. You can drive a bus around a town, go rock crawling in the wild west, fly a cargo of a truck to another airport or tow your car to the repair shop. All the content is made by the community and downloaded via the repository. There is even online multiplayer although you cant tow in multiplayer yet.

Hi and welcome (spotify)
Well hi and welcome to my new blog all about free online services. Its called b1's tech blog because you can call me b1 and it is a tech blog.
Well I have some cool stuff to show you over the weeks but I will start with something that you may well have heard of and it is spotify. Spotify is a free service for anyone with a pc or mac and an internet connection. It is a service where you can play a massive music library through your computer . To use it on a phone or ipod touch you need to pay. I am also sorry to say that now you have to put your email address down and wait quite a long time to get an account and start using spotify unless you are willing to pay. Luckily I made an account early enough when you didn't have to wait. Just note that this is not a way to download free music but just to play it. If you want to download spotify just go to spotify.com.
