First Person Shooters

Today I have some first person shooter games for you:

Operation 7. This is a great online multiplayer game that is based on modern combat. A big feature of this game is the weapon modification. You can change every component of your weapon from the barrel to the scope to the grip. The maps are quite small but it is my favourite fps.
Get it at http://operation7.fiaa.eu/Default.asp for Europe and http://op7.netgame.com/ for America.

Cube 2: Sauerbraten. This is an open source game that is great for multiplayer fun. You are a fictional character and you can just jump into the game. You either get a set gun at the beginning of the game or you start with a pistol and collect more guns around the level. The graphics are very nice and this game is well worth a try if you want a truly free game. Go to http://sauerbraten.org/ to try it out.

Quake Live. If you want to conserve some disc space then try this out. It is a fps that you play in your browser. It works with IE, Firefox and Safari. It just downloads a small file to your hard disc and then you can play for free. This is a classic Quake game. Monsters vs monsters in an arena online and all completely free. Try the fun at http://www.quakelive.com/.

That should set you up. If we find any other fps in the future then we will tell you. Remember to try our google chrome extentions: http://goo.gl/L3bLhttp://goo.gl/DGet and http://goo.gl/FtoT.
